Surgical milestones

• Vertebroplasty : started for the first time in SCB Medical College (published in newspapers)
• Skull Base: Anterior petrosectomy by drilling the Kawases triangle: first time started in Odisha (Presented at twincity neuroclub)
• Endoscopic: Transnasal transsphenoidal endoscopic pituitary surgery started first time in SCB Medical College.(To be presented)
• Tailored hemilaminectomy for spinal tumors series of cases ( Abstract submitted for presentation at NSSICON 2016 )
• Unilateral approach to bilateral anterior skull base tumors
• • Experience of performing more than 700 major surgeries after joining as Assistant Professor,Neurosurgery at SCB Medical College, Cuttack. 216 major brain and spine surgeries in 2015.
